Celebrating our slow fashion ethos, Nora is an ode to the art of handmade. Beginning with four wood blocks intricately hand-carved to create two traditional floral designs, skilled artisans then use the blocks to slowly and carefully hand print delicate blue hues upon the softest cotton voile. Tiers of printed fabric have then been gracefully layered and finished with mother-of-pearl buttons from bodice to base, forming this free flowing feminine style lovingly hand-crafted by a small group of women in Jaipur, India.

Limited Quantities

Due to this style's production process taking several months to create, each Nora mini dress is completely unique and one-of-a-kind and is only available in extremely limited quantities. Colour variations may occur due to the handmade nature of this garment.

Material

100% Cotton. This style features an underlining, covering the bodice to the base of the last tier on the mini length skirt.

Garment Care

We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Lovingly handmade in India, each piece may vary slightly in colour — a natural part of its unique beauty.

Hand block printing is a traditional artisan technique that uses hand-carved wooden blocks to print fabric by hand. Rooted in Indian craft traditions, the process is slow and highly skilled, beginning with carving rosewood blocks and carefully preparing the fabric.

Eco-friendly dyes are mixed by hand and stamped in precise alignment, often in layers to build the design. The fabric is then washed, dried, and quality-checked, resulting in textiles that celebrate sustainability, human rhythm, and individual artistry.
